Bill Meyer

 

Bill is exploring how AI and custom Large Language Models might broadly accelerate the global shift to alternative proteins. He’s an expert in human-computer-interaction, knowledge sharing/team collaboration tools and public science communication.

Bill has been co-PI and senior staff member on several multi-million dollar National Science Foundation science communication projects—most recently “Science of Sharing” to change public perceptions and behaviors around sustainability. Bill worked with Oculus’ founders to create experiences that demystify how Virtual and Augmented Reality work, and prior to that directed New Media and developed experiences at San Francisco’s Exploratorium for over a decade. Bill is passionate about assisting people to achieve deeper levels of awareness and reduce suffering, and is a long time Vipassana meditator, serving on boards and consulting pro bono to meditation retreat centers. He is CEO of Cognitive Dreaming, a startup developing augmented awareness technologies.
